SMC Packaging Group is proud to announce that their Arrowhead Containers Division has attained AIB Certification.  The Superior Rating was achieved in the 2nd Quarter of 2009.   The process of certification included an in-depth review of manufacturing procedures, quality system effectiveness, process orientation,  and product safety program adequacy.

Arrowhead General Manager Vern Bennett stated “We’ve always been dedicated to consistent procedures,  product quality, and  running a top-notch operation while we focus our efforts on continuous improvement.  AIB Certification validates those efforts and we look forward to the new opportunities that  this achievement will most certainly generate.”

The American Institute of Baking (AIB) has long focused on  improving the manufacture of quality products through enhancing employee skills and awareness.  Utilizing  education and training to promote consistent high-level performance has resulted in a well-respected certification that is recognized industry wide.

Baskar Kotte, of Quality Systems Enhancement, worked closely with the Arrowhead / SMC Packaging team to achieve this certification.
