Each SMC Packaging facility is capable of utilizing all electonic documents available through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Trading partner pacts are available through our Value Added Network which allows us to effectively communicate with all types of systems on the market.
We do have the ability to provide Advanced Shipping Notices(ASN) to our customers, and do provide this service via the internet.
Several customers elect to have SMC Customer Service Representatives monitor their order patterns and corrugated need through the use of their electronic MRP system. Orders are placed using this system through floor stock programs, quantity driven replenishment plans, and Sales Rep VMI.
Printing Plates
We produce photopolymer printing plates in our Conway, Arkansas facility. With our graphics expertise in that location, we are able to take customer artwork, produce printing plates with quick turnaround, and provide this service conveniently and cost-effectively.
