Fosber 98"Corrugator
 SMC's corrugator is located at our Springfield, Missouri plant (Southern Missouri Containers). With the completion of the final phase of our upgrade, we have the ability to run B Flute, C Flute, E Flute, and B/C & E/B doublewall combinations.
Our corrugator is fully integrated with our process management system (Synchro) and our production control system scheduling software to provide real-time production information, enabling us to run efficiently, with minimal waste, and to provide on-time value to our customers.

Hycorr (66x135) Printer Slotter with Die Capability
 SMC's largest rotary die-cutter (printer/slotter) is located in our Springfield, Missouri box plant . This Hycorr machine is capable of running 4-color process work, bold print, and full coverage printing. SMC can provide quality direct print alternatives through utilizing a collaborative effort with our graphic design team and select vendor partners.

Ward (50x113) Flexo Folder Gluer
 The 50 x 113, 2 color Flexo Folder Gluer, located in the Springfield, Missouri plant, is the most recent addition to SMC's group of flexos. Stored spec and run parameters, full plant scheduling system, and quick setups make this a valuable addition to our converting capabilities – enabling high speed production to meet increasing demands and expectations of our customer base.

Automatan Model 4260
 High-speed label application to corrugated doubleface is a perfect complement to SMC's graphic offerings. As an alternative to our digital, direct print, or pre-print options, the Automatan can provide a mid-volume point-of purchase alternative with great results. SMC's Automatan 4260 is located in the Springfield, Missouri box plant.

IMG – MaxCut
 SMC Packaging added auto platen die-cut design to our production capabilities with the installation of the IMG MaxCut at our Springfield, Missouri location. Due to increasingly complex die-cut designs utilizing micro-flutes, labeled sheets, and litho-lam, we found the matrix scoring capabilities, coupled with the multiple-out opportunities, made this new machine a great complement to our rotary and flat-bed die cutting capabilities.

Ward (66x113) Rotary Die Cutter
 Arrowhead Containers (SMC's Kansas City sheet plant) is equipped with a 66x113 rotary die cutter which has proven to be a solid addition to our machine portfolio. Quick access to retained setups and our recent connection to a full plant production control sytem, have significantly increased our converting capabilities to support this region.

Ward (37 ½ x 97) Flexo Folder Gluer
 The recent installation of a state of the art 2-color flexo folder gluer with die-cut section in SMC' s Kansas City sheet plant (Arrowhead Containers) has proven to be a valuable addition to our converting capabilities. Stored spec and run parameters, full plant scheduling system, and quick setups have increased production speeds, and increased on-time deliveries.

F&E (66 x 170) Printer / Slotter
 This large format 2-color printer/slotter, located in SMC's Kansas City sheet plant (Arrowhead Containers) is a great resource for large pallet wraps / skirts and large bin boxes. We also have the ability to convert triplewall on this machine. What can be two-pass jobs on many pieces of converting equipment can be efficiently produced in one pass on the F&E at Arrowhead.

J&L Specialty Folder Gluer
 SMC's specialty folder Gluer is located in our Wonder State Box facility in Conway, Arkansas. The J&L specialty folder/gluer is designed to handle auto lockbottoms, die cuts, inner partitions, four and six corner trays, hexagonal, octagonal, gusseted and long box styles. Our machine allows us to run blanks up to 115" wide and a variety of substrates from triplewall to chipboard – including labeled microflutes.

Hycorr (66x115) Rotary Die Cutter
 This 2-color rotary die cutter is located in our Wonder State Box facility in Conway, Arkansas. Order management is coordinated with our corrugator in Springfield, Missouri to accommodate the quick turnaround and product demands of our customers in the Little Rock market. Rapid setup and a focus on downtime reduction have allowed for enhanced customer satisfaction and efficient machine operation.

Presseal
 Presseal is a carton closure method made possible by the pre-application of a pressure sensitive cohesive. Since this cohesive adheres only to itself, the coated product may lie flat without concern for sticking. Presseal can be used on outer cartons as well as inner packaging. In the design process, Presseal application can be incorporated to reduce additional downstream operations like taping, stitching, and gluing. SMC's Presseal machine is located in our Wonder State Box facility in Conway, Arkansas.
