SMC Packaging Group's corrugator is located in Springfield, and makes daily sheet deliveries to subsidiary locations in Kansas City, Missouri, Conway, Arkansas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. We currently run B Flute, C Flute, and B/C Doublewall in a variety of board combinations to meet Mullen and ECT Test Standards.
Converting
SMC has the perfect regional complement of high-speed, state-of-the-art converting equipment to meet the precise specifications of our customers' demand. Standard box styles including RSCs, FOLs, Design & Full Telescoping Trays, Pads, Partitions, Five Panel Folders, and custom designs that can be produced quickly and efficiently through our operations. Our Real-Time Production Control System allows for precise load and order balancing and consistent on-time delivery.
Packaging Systems
SMC Packaging Systems provides packaging supplies and equipment to the customers of all four SMC locations. We offer tape, stretch, strap, shrink, and the equipment that applies these materials. In addition we can send our Packaging Systems team out to assist in setting up new packing lines and to offer support in designing new pieces of packaging equipment as necessary. Packaging Systems gives SMC the unique advantage of providing "one-stop shopping" to our customer base -- one more example of added value.
